- “Victoria”
- Life-sized: 46″ H x 28″ D x 28″ W
- Limited Edition of 12
“Victoria” is a life-sized bronze sculpture of a special 6 year old from Dallas holding a watering can. However, that is only part of the story… the real Victoria is a captivating young lady who did her very best to show us how to water and care for the flowers around her parents’ home. As we got to know Victoria on that summer afternoon, we found she had a lot of insight into what a bronze sculpture of herself would look like…”It will look just like me!” With her broad smile and beautiful eyes and long pony tails held up by big ribbons, we knew we had to meet up with her expectations.
This sculpture will be cast in a Limited Edition of 12 and will make a wonderful addition to any outdoor garden area. Art Castings of Colorado is one of the finest Art Foundries in the US and their superior bronze castings and fine finishes withstand the elements of time when installed and maintained outdoors. The patinas were created by using Liver of Sulfur, rubbed back to reveal the highlights, with the metal heated to accept Ferric Nitrate in order to achieve the beautiful transparent red browns on “Victoria”. The real Victoria is the daughter of Brint and Amanda Ryan.
